Blink of Reality
This game is a submission for Brackey's 2022.1 game jam under the theme: It is not real... made by only 1 person, me :) in only 7 days.
KEYBOARD AND MOUSE ONLY
Controls:
- AD: Left and Right
- Space: Jump
- Shift: Crouch
- Q: Blink
- Left and Right Click: Shoot (according to weapon slot)
- E: Interact/Pick up weapon
Overview:
A 2d platformer adventure horror-style game where you collect new weapons by killing enemies.
Objective:
Reach the end of the forest, defeat the boss, and discover the truth. Fight your way through the forest against ghosts and monsters that periodically spawn. Collect new weapons from killing enemies and get stronger to kill even more enemies.
How To Play:
You play as a girl who cannot differentiate between the real and the fake. BLINK, and think for a second, and you find out what's real and what's not, including enemies, weapons, and terrain. You have 4 lives, and killing enemies, including fake ones will regenerate them, and have a chance at dropping a new weapon. Use left click to shoot your left-slot weapon, and right click for the right-slot weapon. Good luck!

The art style fits the game perfectly, giving it a doodled scary vibe; I particularly like the character design, which reminds me of an Indonesian ghost known as kuntilanak. I didn't get to play it until the end, but I will definitely play it later. Keep the excellent work!!
